Valley FFA Team Places 2nd At Contest

On April 27, Tippecanoe Valley FFA had a team compete at the State Nursery Landscaping Contest. Members had to identify plant materials commonly used in landscaping, take written knowledge assessment, estimating mathematical business scenarios and apply practical skills with hands-on challenges as a team and individually. The team placed second in state in their first year. The team was coached by Hope Slagle, ag teacher. Pictured (L to R) are Reed Jones, Jailynn Evans, Hayden Stookey and Roy Baldridge.
