Lots of “peeps” were coming from Amy Klinger’s kindergarten class at Madison Elementary School due to their recent hatch of 38 chicks. The eggs were placed in the incubators, and the children anxiously awaited for 21 days to see the sweet hatchlings. In that 21-days time, the kindergarten students studied oviparous/viviparous animals, learned about animal life cycles and animal care and responsibilities. Pictured are Wren Keener and her baby chick.
