Syracuse Cub Scout Pack Fills Bags For Vets

SYRACUSE – Syracuse scouts were at Land O Lakes Purina Animal Nutrition in Milford Monday to fill bags with toiletries and personal care products for military veterans.
Purina donated the items and bags while 19 scouts from Syracuse Cub Scout Pack 3828 and Syracuse Scout Troup 728, and adult volunteers, worked to fill 144 bags. The filled bags will be distributed free to local veterans by Salvation Army.
After the work was completed Land O Lakes Purina Animal Nutrition treated the scouts to pizza.
“We are proud to partner with our local scouts in supporting our area military veterans and showing our gratitude for their service,” stated Purina Plant Manager Loretta Schafer.
