One Hurt By Gunfire Thursday In Warsaw

A person was airlifted after a shooting on Rosemont Avenue Thursday.
At 1:01 p.m. Thursday, Kosciusko County 911 Dispatch Center received a call of a shooting at 1904 Rosemont Ave., Warsaw.
First arriving officers located a male victim with a single gunshot wound. That male was treated at the scene by Lutheran EMS and WarsawWayne Fire Territory personnel. The male was then flown by Lutheran Air to Fort Wayne for treatment of his injuries. His condition is unknown at this time, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
At 1:44 p.m., a person of interest came to the KCSO to speak with investigators in regards to the shooting.
No names will be released at this time as the investigation is ongoing. There is no concern for public safety.
