Firefighters were dispatched to the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a call for a fire alarm. Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Chief Joel Shilling said a fog machine had been left out and it set off the fire alarm. The Winona Lake Fire Department was called for assistance, but was quickly cancelled once firefighters realized what it was. Firefighters figured out what it was because it didn’t smell like smoke and they use a similar fog machine for training purposes.
