Ramona Linda Randall

Ramona Linda Randall, of Warsaw,  passed away at her residence on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the age of 83.
She was born Dec. 18, 1940, in Grand Forks, N.D., to Linda Hulda Whilhamina Schmidt Strassburg and Karl Martin Artimus Strassburg. Her first marriage was to Richard J. McAuliffe. They divorced, and later she married Michael Ervine Randall on Sept. 28, 2007. They shared 17 years of marriage together before she passed away.
She graduated at 16 from Niagara High School in North Dakota, where she was valedictorian of the class of 1957. She retired from RR Donnelley & Sons in Warsaw after working in the lab for nearly 40 years. Ramona loved to crochet and made many beautiful afghans and baby blankets. She loved to go home to the farm in North Dakota and to visit her siblings in Washington. Ramona had attended Bourbon Bible Church in Bourbon, Redeemer Lutheran Church in Warsaw and the Free Methodist Church in Winona Lake.
She leaves behind her husband, Mike Randall, Warsaw; daughter, Deb McAuliffe Sprong, Leesburg; son, Rob (Jeanne) McAuliffe, Sacramento, Calif.; four stepchildren and four grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Evelyn Riski, Lakota, N.D.; and Carol (Wilmer) Lundeen, Longview, Texas. She was preceded by three sisters: Renata Forness, Vileda Glas and Helen Young; and two brothers, Paul Strassburg and Bernard Strassburg.
Ramona’s life will be celebrated in a private family memorial service at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
