Entering its 19th year, the team at KCV Cycling and the Fat & Skinny Tire Fest invite you to “Come Ride with Us” at this year’s festival.
The Fat & Skinny Tire Festival, presented by K21 Health Foundation, takes place in Warsaw and Winona Lake May 17-19. More information is available at fatandskinnytirefest.com.
The Fat & Skinny Tire Fest is an ode to National Bike Month and is an all-size-tires and all-ages-invited celebration. The festival hosts all types of cyclists, from racers to enthusiasts to casual riders, together in the bicycle friendly communities of Warsaw and Winona Lake. 2023 saw a full post-pandemic return of more than 2,300 participants, 7,000 spectators and 300 volunteers over the three-day weekend of events, with greater crowds expected this year, according to a news release from KCV Cycling.

"Our goal is to showcase the health, social, and economic benefits of bicycling to the community and the Fat and Skinny Tire Fest highlights each of these benefits,” said Mike Cusick, Fat & Skinny Tire Fest co-director and KCV president.
The Fat & Skinny Tire Fest has many options for participants and spectators throughout the weekend, including many activities for kids and families. Full schedule details are available at fatandskinnytirefest.com.
Activities and events include:
• Critical mass ride, multi-length rides and tours
• Road and mountain bike races
• Family activities, kids clinics and races
• Food trucks, craft beers and live music
The Fat & Skinny Tire Fest supports the Ride+Walk Warsaw+Winona community initiatives, the Winona Lake Trails, the Future Winona Lake Bike Park, Tracey's Trailer Education programs and that of other partners such as Bicycle Indiana.
KCV is a volunteer run, nonprofit focused on making Kosciusko County a great place to live, work, play and visit through bicycling. KCV hosts the popular Fat & Skinny Tire Festival – going on its 19th year, organizes additional events and riding opportunities for the public, maintains the popular off-road trails in Winona Lake and is now planning and fundraising for the construction of the Winona Lake Bike Park.
