Mantis Skate Park Opening Day Is May 18

Opening day for Mantis Skate Park is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 18 at 400 Little League Drive, Warsaw.
It’s free.
Mantis Skate Park is a fully-supervised, family-friendly skate facility everyone can enjoy, all ages are welcome!
A timeline of events for opening day:
• 10 a.m., gates open
• noon, Jimmy John's and goodie bags (for participants only), first come, first serve
• noon to 4 p.m., customizable mini skate decks
• 2 to 3:30 p.m., drawings and prizes
• 3:30 p.m., Tony Hawk autographed picture giveaway
• 4 p.m., close
The park offers a Rhino Ramp System, thanks to support from the K21 Health Foundation.
Skateboards, scooters and inline skates are welcome. Helmets are required at all times. An annual waiver and emergency contact form must be on file to skate. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign these forms.
These forms are available on the website at https://warsaw.in.gov/225/Mantis-Skate-Park or at the park office. The park department encourages completion of these forms prior to arrival.
