Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) announced its upcoming build event, scheduled for this Saturday, May 11, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Show Barn situated at the east end of the Kosciusko Fairgrounds.
The event welcomes participants aged 12 years and up, with no prior building experience required.
As the first month of these community builds unfolds, SHP reports the successful construction of approximately 90 beds, with 25 already delivered to those in need, according to a news release. This initiative signifies a crucial response to the pressing shortage of beds in the local area.
With an urgent demand for additional beds, SHP calls upon the community to join hands and make a tangible difference. Whether you're a seasoned builder or never picked up a screwdriver, your participation is invaluable, the release states.
