Each year, Warsaw Community High School and college students who graduated from WCHS are given the opportunity to apply for the Woodies Supermarket Scholarship Fund.
This year, 16 high school and 14 college students were granted scholarships totaling $20,000 to pursue their academic careers.
Woodies Supermarket Scholarship Fund was founded in 1978 by Woodie and Devota Schramm. Woodie was a businessman in Warsaw and Bremen and was the founder of Woodies Supermarkets.
