WINONA LAKE - Northern Lakes Gospel Promotions will host The No Name Quartet’s annual Mother’s Day concert with guest Michael Booth of the Booth Brothers.
The event will be 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m., May 12 at Winona Lake Grace Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake.
The No Name Quartet has been a music group for nearly 20 years. What was just getting together to sing for fun, grew into a requested quartet that has risen to sing the national anthem at Banker’s Life Field House in Indianapolis, as well as recently singing alongside well-known gospel artists The Booth Brothers, The Guardians, Triumphant Quartet and Wes Hampton of the Gaither Vocal Band, according to a news release from Northern Lakes Gospel Promotions.

    Michael Booth

Gospel music was a large part of Michael Booth’s upbringing. However, it was not necessarily the path he envisioned for his future. A natural musician, it was the drums that first drew Michael into music, and became his passion throughout his teenage years. As a young adult, Michael branched out into singing with his father, Ron Sr., and brother Ronnie. Initially, Michael found singing on stage very uncomfortable, and lacked the confidence and enthusiasm he felt as a drummer. But with time and experience, he discovered that the rewards of ministering through song far outweighed any discomfort he faced, and eventually those experiences shaped him into the seasoned musician he is today, stated the release.
There will be limited seating guaranteed for the first 500 in attendance. There is no ticket required to attend this concert. However, a free-will love offering will be received.
