Buying Event Scheduled For Thursday, Friday In Warsaw

For those wanting to get rid of coins or jewelry or be educated on what they have, a Wabash company will have a buying event Thursday and Friday in Warsaw.
Precious Gems and Metals, Wabash, will be holding a buying event Thursday and Friday at Best Western, 3825 Lake City Hwy., Warsaw, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free.
Owner Stan Walter said at the event, the company educates people on what kind of valueable gems and jewelry the person has and buys them if the person chooses to sell them. He said at the event, they deal a lot with coins, silver dollars, military collectibles, diamonds, gold and silver jewelry and a lot of sterling silver.
People can also request Walter make house calls by appointment for those who can’t make the event in-person.
Walter said he has been doing buying events in Warsaw since the 1970s and has always had a good turnout and he said he considers his business a service to his customers.
