Dr. Thomas Dean VanOsdol passed away March 17, 2024, in Naples, Fla.
He was born on April 10, 1940, in Warsaw, to Cortes Dean VanOsdol and Marjorie Louise VanOsdol.
He graduated from Indiana University Dental School with honors in 1964 and he was a fourth-generation dentist, with his father, grandfather and great-uncle preceding him.
Graduating from dental school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a captain at Fort Polk Louisiana and Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis. Upon completing his service in the Army in 1966, he returned to the community of Warsaw that he had grown up in and loved.
To this community and his patients, our family would like to say, “Thank you for being a special part of his life.”
He always had a smile on his face, a kind word to say and the patience of a saint. We will miss him.
He is being sadly missed by his wife, Linda; sons, Michael (Bill), Scott and Matthew (Janet); grandchildren: Mikey (Pam), Alexis and Nicholas; and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Rowan and Hazel.
