Wednesday Bridge Group Met
Wednesday Night Bridge Group met at Grace Village Wednesday.
The winners were Betty Walston, Virginia Horn, Carolyn Young, Judy Stewart and Nancy Dalton.
The group welcomes bridge players of all skill levels to join them from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays at Grace Village. If interested, call John Wagley at 574-268-1330.

Tri Kappa Plays Bingo
On March 2, the Warsaw chapter of Tri Kappa held a morning of bingo. The Sacred Heart School gym was packed with community members there to have some fun and play bingo to help support Tri Kappa's mission of charity, culture and education.

Altrusa Club Met
Altrusa International of Warsaw held their monthly business meeting on March 7 at Kosciusko REMC.
Eighteen members and one guest were present. Co-President Julie Hall presided. Service Committee Chair Lorie Krygier reported on the upcoming volunteer opportunities for March. Community service projects included Ryan’s Case for Smiles, reading at Lincoln School, delivering Mobile Meals, labeling books for Operation Read, Riley Radio Days and providing dinner at Baker’s Youth Club. In addition to the hands-on projects, the club will be purchasing a pallet of wood pellets for the Animal Welfare League to be used as cat litter.
Bev Faulkner, membership chair, reported the annual banquet will be May 16 at 5:30 p.m. at Papa Vino’s. The raffle prize to support general operating expenses was provided by Julie Hall and was won by Vicki Martin.
Martin, finance chair, shared information regarding an upcoming fundraiser at Papa Vino’s. The Papa’s Partners event will take place April 29 to May 2. Coupons will be emailed to members for sharing with family and friends. Altrusa will receive a percentage of the sales earned over the four-day event.
The slate of officers for the Altrusa year beginning June 1, 2024, through May 31, 2025, was presented to the members. There were no additional nominations from the floor. The final names were read, seconded and nominations were closed. Secretary Beth Huffer cast a unanimous vote to accept the slate for the 2024-25 officers.
Officers for 2024-25 are as follows: president, Mary Garret; co-vice presidents, Susan Woodward and Vicky Patterson; secretary, Beth Huffer; co-treasurers, Jan Sloan and Vicki Martin; and directors, Bev Faulkner, Lorie Krygier and Sharon Sanders.
The next meeting of Altrusa International of Warsaw will be Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at The Palette Restaurant. Visitors are welcome.

ABC Bridge Played
The ABC Bridge Club met at Grace Village with Sharon Tuttle as hostess.
Winners were Tuttle and Peggy Wilson.

Bridge Was Played At SPEC
NORTH WEBSTER - Bridge was played at SPEC at the North Webster Community Center.
On Tuesday, Jerry Hetrick came in first and Sam Salsibury came in second.
