Easter Egg Hunts Set

Several churches and organizations have set times for Easter egg hunts this year. The following is a list of area activities provided as of Friday.
Akron
The Akron Chamber of Commerce’s annual Easter egg hunt will be March 30 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Pike Memorial Park. Over 6,000 eggs will be available, as well as prizes.
Pictures with the Easter Bunny will be available.
Start time for: birth to 3-year-olds is 11:30 a.m.; 4 to 6, 11:35 a.m.; 7 to 9, 11:40 a.m.; and 10 to 12, 11:45 a.m.

Atwood
The annual Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers through sixth grade will take place March 23 beginning at 1 p.m. at Atwood Otterbein Church, 306 E. Main St., Atwood. All are welcome and light refreshments will be served.

Bourbon
The Glow In The Dark Easter Egg Hunt is 8 to 9 p.m. March 29 at Bourbon Park, 417 E. Sunset Drive, Bourbon. Registration starts at 8 p.m.
Kids will be able to take pictures with the Easter Bunny.
Age groups for the event are birth-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12.
There will be several prizes for each age groups, a golden egg for each group. There will be drawings after 8:30 p.m. The Easter egg hunt will start at 9 p.m.

Claypool
Join Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, for an Easter egg hunt March 24.
Ages 2 and under start at 9:25 a.m.; 3-5, 9:40 a.m.; 6 to 9, 9:50 a.m.; and 10 and up, 10 a.m.

Etna Green
The Lions Club of Etna Green will again host an Easter egg hunt for youngsters. The annual event will start at 1 p.m. March 30, at Heritage Park, Etna Green.

Mentone
The Easter Egg Hunt is 10 a.m. March 30 at Mentzer Park.

North Manchester
North Manchester Parks and Recreation will host an Easter egg hunt March 23. The event begins at 10 a.m. at Warvel Park.
Join for the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny meet-and-great at the park.
Kids will be divided into five groups, based on age – toddler, pre-K/K, grades 1-2, grades 3-4 and grade 5 and up. Line up on the sidewalks along Seventh and Market streets and look for age groups on the sidewalk.
One grand prize egg for each category will be hidden in the respective areas.

North Webster
North Webster Church of God will host its annual community Easter egg hunt on the grounds of Cramp Crosley, 165 EMS T2 Lane, North Webster, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. March 23.
The event is free and there will be over 20,000 Easter eggs for children under age 12 to find. Other activities include meeting the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo, a prize tent, doughnut holes and hot chocolate.

Silver Lake
Silver Lake Lions Club's 40th annual Easter Egg Hunt will be at 11 a.m. March 23 at the Silver Lake School grounds. There are five age groups to participate in: birth to 1, 2 to 3, 4 to 6, 7 to 9, and 10 through sixth grade. Prizes will be awarded in each age group. Bring your containers.

Syracuse
An Easter egg hunt will be at 10 a.m. March 23 at Community Center/Lakeside Park.

Warsaw
Warsaw Meadows Care Center, 300 E. Prairie St., Warsaw, will celebrate Easter with its first annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m.
They will have two age groups of hunters, 1-5 and 6-10. There will be a special golden egg with a prize ticket for each group.
The Easter Bunny will be there from 9 to 11 a.m., so hop on over for some pictures.
First United Methodist Church, 179 S. Indiana St., Warsaw, will have a children's Easter egg hunt on March 24. After the 9 a.m. service downtown, they will have an Easter egg hunt for all of the kids.
Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High St., Warsaw, is hosting a hunt on March 23 at 11:15 a.m. for toddlers to 12 years old.
This 3,000-plus egg hunt will take place in the church gym and playground with free "kid-friendly" lunch afterward (cheese stick/peanut butter crackers, fruit, chips and drink).
Kids are also welcome to stick around for a puppet show or open gym (until 1 p.m.).

Winona Lake
WINONA LAKE – Let the Winona Lake Park Department “egg” your house with candy and toy-filled plastic eggs or surprise your neighbors or friends with some Easter fun.
Eggs will be placed the evening of your choice on March 29 or March 30. Eggs will be delivered in a basket to your front door or eggs can be hidden in your yard for an additional fee, according to a news release from the Winona Lake Park Department.
Order deadline is Friday at noon.
Delivery is limited to Warsaw and Winona Lake.
