BOURBON – Courtney Rose Wiseley Wareham, 45, passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2024, in Battle Creek, Mich.
She was born on Nov. 28, 1978, in Plymouth, to Dan and Lydia Wiseley.
Courtney especially liked working with the elderly and enjoyed working at Lu Ann Nursing Home in Nappanee with her sister, Megan, and her mom, Lydia. She worked as a dietary aide at the nursing home. She loved to spend time shopping with her mom. Courtney attended NorthWood High School and then attended beauty school. She loved her children and spoke of them often to whomever would listen.
Courtney was the mother of four living children: three sons: Kalifornia and Colorado, of Ohio; and Michigan, of Michigan; and one daughter, Nevada, of Michigan. Courtney is also survived by her parents, Dan and Lydia; her sister, Megan (Troy) Miller, of Etna Green; Jacki (Matt) Geese, of Nappanee; an aunt, Ann (Jim) Auer, of Milford; and an uncle, Del Weakly, of Nappanee; a sister-in-law, Julie (Brett) Householder, of Ohio; and brother-in-law, Dennis Wareham, of Ohio; nieces and nephews; and four great-nephews.
Courtney was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wareham; her maternal and paternal grandparents, and a niece, MacKenzie Geese.
Her daughter, Nevada said, “All she wanted was to have her four kids back together again … She was working hard on herself so she could have her youngest back home.” Her son, Colorado said, “Even though she couldn’t be with her kids, she found a way to be with them in the long run, and she did just that.”
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Courtney’s children.
