NORTH MANCHESTER – Douglas Eugene “Doug" Stamate, 73, North Manchester, died March 10, 2024.
He was born July 26, 1950, in Wabash, to Maverne “Gene” and Helen Irene Young Stamate.
Doug served his country in the United States Navy from 1975 until he retired in 1995.
A graveside service will be Thursday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating.
For those who wish to honor the memory of Doug Stamate, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 286, 215 E. Main St., North Manchester, IN 46962.
The family of Doug Stamate has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
