A Warsaw man was arrested after allegedly having a sexual relationship with a minor.
Raymond Clifford Barr, 33, of 2914 N. Williamson Drive, Warsaw, is charged with child seduction, a level 5 felony; and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a class A misdemeanor.
He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 3:43 p.m. Friday on a $10,250 preliminary bond.
According to the probable cause affidavit, on Feb. 29 the Department of Child Services contacted a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office detective in reference to alleged sexual abuse Barr committed against a minor.
On Feb. 29, the minor completed a forensic interview at the Elkhart County CAPS Center and reported they grew close to Barr. The minor said Barr touched them inappropriately and the sexual contact escalated.
Barr initially denied a sexual relationship with the minor and said they held hands a couple times and the minor kissed Barr twice. Barr said they discussed leaving together.
Barr stated the first time they had sex was in December and he estimated they had sex four or five times, according to court documents.
