The following people were arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 11:51 a.m. Thursday - Peter Mark Parisi Jr., 28, Wolcottville, arrested for driving a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior suspension. Bond: $450.
• 1:26 p.m. Thursday - Joshua Lucas Cabrera, 41, Fort Wayne, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.15 or more. Bond: $700.
• 6:50 p.m. Thursday - Shane Lee Senter, 48, of 9508 E. King Arthur Trail, Cromwell, arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $5,250.
• 7:05 p.m. Thursday - Christina Nicole Santos-Burke, 42, of 207 E. Huntington St., North Webster, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.
• 7:46 p.m. Thursday - Cassandra A. Medley, 35, of 11480 N. Enchanted Forest Lane, Cromwell, arrested for possession of cocaine or narcotic drug. Bond: $5,250.
• 1:09 p.m. Friday - Gary Gene Gregory, 61, Elkhart, arrested for manufacturing/dealing methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia with a prior and possession of methamphetamine. Bond: $25,250.
• 1:16 p.m. Friday - Joshua Brant Hawthorne, 44, of 1202 Wooster Road, #88, Winona Lake, arrested for possession of methamphetamine, driving a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior suspension, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $5,250.
• 2:04 p.m. Friday - Shanna Marie Griffith, 48, of 787 S. CR 900W, Pierceton, arrested for felony probation violation. Bond: $5,250.

• 12:56 p.m. Wednesday - North Bishop Road, 1,400 feet south of East CR 1290N, Syracuse. SUV-train collision. Driver: Stephen D. Schmahl, 55, Bloomington. Injury: Schmahl was pronounced dead at the scene. Damage: $25,000-$50,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 5:18 a.m. Friday - East CR 500N, 100 feet east of North CR 700E, North Webster. SUV hit deer. Driver: Anthony W. Click, 54, East CR 500N, North Webster. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSO.
• 6:45 a.m. Thursday - South County Farm Road, Claypool. Car hit deer. Driver: Larry Tran, 33, East Main Street, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSO.
• 8:52 a.m. Thursday - Intersection of North Ind. 15 and West CR 800N, Leesburg. Car hit deer. Driver: Skyler J. Weber, 22, Columbia City. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. KCSO.
