Tag, You’re It! Baker Youth Club Launches Summer Fundraiser To Build New Playground

This summer, bring a piece of childhood joy back to the community with the launch of Baker Youth Club’s fundraiser, "Tag You’re It!"
The campaign combines the classic game of tag with modern technology, creating an engaging and fun way for everyone to support the construction of BYC’s new playground, according to a provided news release.
The Game:
Did you find yourself with a "Tag You’re It!" sign in your yard?
• To get the “Tag You’re It” sign out of your yard, simply make a donation – any amount is appreciated.
• After donating, BYC volunteers will replace the sign with a “No Tag Backs” sign.
• Next, take your “Tag You’re It” sign and place it in someone else’s yard, keeping the game going all summer long,
How To Play:
• To get the “Tag You’re It” sign out of your yard, simply make a donation – any amount counts!
• After donating, BYC volunteers will replace the sign with a “No Tag Backs” sign, which also features a QR code with more details about the campaign.
• Donors then take the “Tag You’re It” sign and place it in someone else’s yard, keeping the game going all summer long.
The new playground will be on the site of the former back parking lot of the property, transforming the space into a vibrant area for children to play and enjoy, the release states. To finish the playground before school starts, BYC hopes to raise $50,000.
Didn’t get a Tag You’re It sign in your yard yet? That’s OK! You can still play. Simply donate online at www.BakerYouthClub.com/tag and a volunteer will drop a No Tag Backs sign in your yard!
BYC Executive Director Tracy Furnivall is “excited to see the playground finally come to fruition. Since moving to our current facility, we dreamed of having an outdoor play area to help our members grow socially and physically.”
BYC member Brynlee, said she’s most looking forward to “being outside with her friends on the monkey bars.”
