Kosciusko County 4-H Will Crown Royalty Thursday Night

Kosciusko County 4-H will host their annual 4-H Royalty, Fashion Revue and Awards night Thursday at Lakeview Middle School.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the night’s events beginning at 6 p.m., according to a news release provided.
Youth and community supporters will be honored with special scholarships and awards for the evening.
A 4-H royalty coronation will take place where the crowned winners will reign over the 2024 Kosciusko County 4-H Fair.
2024 Kosciusko County 4-H Royalty Contestants are:
Corissa Knepper
Corissa is the daughter of Dan and Kari Knepper, and is going to be a junior at Wawasee High School. This is her eighth year in 4-H and is a part of the Milford Helping Hands 4-H Club and Junior Leaders. Her 4-H projects include beef, rabbits, DCFS, goats, Junior Leaders, foods, fine arts, photography, arts and crafts general and gift wrapping. Her future plans include graduating from high school and going to college to study psychology.
Jasmine Fuller
Jasmine is the daughter of Chad and Tara Fuller, and is going to be a junior at Tippecanoe Valley High School. This is her eighth year in 4-H and is a part of the Mentone United 4-H Club. Her 4-H projects include goats, DCFS and consumer clothing. Her future plans include getting her Masters in Accounting and to get her CPA.
Eva Everest
Eva is the daughter of Keith and Lori Everest, and is going to be a senior at Warsaw Community High School. This is her ninth year in 4-H and is a part of the Leesburg Mighty Farmers 4-H Club and Junior Leaders. Her 4-H projects include dairy, photography and Junior Leaders. Her future plans are to attend college and major in animal science.
Emerson Krull
Emerson is the daughter of Shawn and Lissa Krull, and is going to be a junior at Wawasee High School. This is her eighth year in 4-H and is a part of the Milford Helping Hands 4-H Club and Junior Leaders. Her 4-H projects include goats, rabbits, beef, arts and crafts general, home environment, gift wrapping, fashion revue and wearable art. Her future plans are to attend college and study sports medicine.
Lyllian Johnson
Lyllian is the daughter of Damon and Patricia Johnson, and is going to be a senior at Warsaw Community High School. This is her ninth year in 4-H and is a part of The Great Outdoors 4-H Club and Junior Leaders. Her 4-H projects include poultry, shooting sports, rabbit, photography, fine arts, blacksmithing, needlecraft and Junior Leaders. Her future plans include becoming a large animal veterinarian and/or veterinarian technician.
Morgan Himes
Morgan is the daughter of Matt and Rachelle Himes, and is a 2024 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. This is her ninth year in 4-H and is a part of the Leesburg Mighty Farmers 4-H Club and Junior Leaders. Her 4-H projects include swine, beef, Junior Leaders, Poss-ABILITIES, photography, homemade ice cream, arts and crafts general, communications and cake decorating. Her future plans include are to attend Purdue University and study nursing and psychology.
Riley Shepherd
Riley is the son of Joel and Karla Shepherd, and is a 2024 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School. This is his 10th year in 4-H and is a part of the Leesburg Mighty Farmers 4-H Club. His 4-H projects include beef, swine, foods, dairy foods and fire education. His future plans are to attend Huntington University and study agribusiness, as well as play basketball.
Carter Grady
Carter is the son of Matt and Wendy Grady, and is going to be a junior at Wawasee High School. This is his eighth year in 4-H and is a part of the Leesburg Mighty Farmers 4-H Club and Junior Leaders. His 4-H projects include aerospace, beef, DCFS, electric, goats, Junior Leaders, Legos, shooting sports, swine and tractor. His future plans include attending college to major in an ag course of study.
