Kent L. Beer

MILFORD – Kent L. Beer, age 75, of Warsaw, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, at the Meadows of Warsaw.
He was born on Aug. 12, 1948, the son of Eldon and Kathryn Getz Beer in Goshen. Kent grew up and lived most of his life in Milford. Like a wise man, he never married.
He is survived by three siblings: Tom “Nip” (Brenda) Beer, of Elkhart; Jan (Michelle) Beer, of Goshen; and Tamara (Ron) Graber, of Syracuse; along with, nieces and nephews: Kaitlin (Benjamin Boldac) Graber, Staci (Jeff) DeBolt, Austin Beer, Matthew Beer and Tiffany Beer.
Kent lived independently at the Bowen Center of Warsaw for over 20 years. He collected radios, clocks, watches, movies and lots of albums. Kent enjoyed a variety of musical genres and movies along with a cigarette every once in a while.
A funeral service will be held in Kent’s honor at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 27 at Mishler Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 461 W. CR 900N, Milford. Kent’s family will officiate and everyone is invited to bring a memory to share. Burial will follow at Milford Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
