NORTH WEBSTER - The North Webster Community Center (NWCC) will be hosting its 2024 Ladies Night Out Designer Purse Bingo Fundraiser on Saturday, July 13 with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
"In just a couple of weeks, our gym will be filled with ladies enjoying nail-biting bingo games, raffles and pull tabs for a chance to go home with a designer purse, clutch or cash," said NWCC Executive Director Emily Shipley. "This annual event is a fundraiser for the community center, specifically to help support the programs we offer free for all ages. Purses and clutch brands include Coach, Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs and many more with values ranging from $150 to $1,500. And we’re excited to welcome North Webster Elementary School Principal Lee Snider to the stage as our emcee for the evening."
Dinner will be catered by Chubbies Pub and Grub and there will be a cash bar.
Tickets are available for purchase at www.nwcommunitycenter.org or by calling the office at 574-834-1600. Reserved tables are available with incentives.
The NWCC, a not-for-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation, was established in 2002 to restore and preserve the former North Webster elementary school as a unique asset in the lake-area resort community in which its located, said Shipley, adding that the NWCC’s board initially raised $1.4 million to renovate the building, which is currently being used by the entire surrounding community.
Today, it’s home to a number of local groups and businesses such as the Kosciusko Community YMCA, Senior Primelife Enrichment Center (SPEC), The Watershed Foundation Inc. and NWCC Massage Therapy. In addition, the Center is available as a rental facility for a wide variety of events from weddings to fundraisers to Mermaid Festival pageants, election polls, health screenings, class reunions, birthday parties and countless scout, lake association, town council, service club and support group meetings.
Contact Shipley in person at the NWCC in downtown North Webster, by email at [email protected] or by phone at 574-834-1600, ext. 221.
