NORTH WEBSTER – Janice Sue Bolin, a resident of rural North Webster and formerly of Huntington, passed away at the age of 82 in Warsaw.
Born in Huntington on June 16, 1942, Janice was the daughter of James W. Horrell and Corinne C. Kitt Horrell. She graduated from Clear Creek High School in Huntington before earning an undergraduate degree from Manchester College. Later, she pursued further education and attained a master's degree from St. Francis University.
Janice dedicated 32 years of her life to educating special needs students in several school districts, notably spending 28 years at Huntington Community School Corporation before retiring. In retirement, she settled on Irish Lake to be closer to her family.
Janice found solace in attending North Webster Church of God and was a previous member of J.O.Y (Just Older Youth) at the church. She was also involved with Friends of the Library - North Webster. Janice's passions included sewing, cooking, and baking; her pies and Ham Loaf were particularly cherished by her family, bringing comfort to those around her.
Janice deeply cared about others' well-being, especially her grandchildren, demonstrating a heart that few knew so well.
Survivors include her daughter, Kristene (husband Todd Harris), of rural North Webster; three grandchildren: Zoee Stephan (and Nate Richardson), of Andrews; Wyatt Stephan (wife Bailey), of Argos; and Abbigayle Harris, of rural North Webster; two sisters-in-law, Sue Horrell, of Huntington; and Billie Horrell, of Warren; three nieces and a nephew. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, James and Corinne Horrell; daughter, Sharon Stephan and husband Michael Stephan; and two brothers, Ronald Horrell and Roger Horrell.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services of North Webster is entrusted with the care of Janice and her family. A visitation will be held at North Webster Church of God, 302 N.
