Get ready to reach new heights of excitement as SOAR! returns for another year at the Warsaw Municipal Airport.
This event, which started as a humble idea from Ray and Betsy Scott, has blossomed into a community tradition, raising funds and spirits for a worthy cause, according to a news release from Cardinal Services.
Ray Scott, the line supervisor at Warsaw Municipal Airport, and Betsy Scott from Cardinal Services, joined forces with other departments of the city of Warsaw to create an event. Their vision was to provide Cardinal Services clients with an up-close encounter with airplanes and a chance to explore municipal vehicles like firetrucks and police cars.
What began as a local initiative has attracted the attention of several companies eager to support the cause. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and the sale of event merchandise, SOAR! 2023 raised $1,500 for Cardinal Services, the release states.
"We couldn't be more thrilled with the success of SOAR! 2023," said Ray and Betsy Scott. "It's truly heartwarming to see our community come together to support such a meaningful cause. The smiles on the faces of Cardinal Services clients as they explore the aircraft are priceless."
But the excitement doesn't stop there. Building on the triumph of last year's event, organizers are already hard at work planning SOAR! 2024. With even more attractions, activities, and surprises in store, this year promises to be bigger, better and more uplifting than ever before, according to the release.
"We're incredibly excited to announce that SOAR! 2024 is in the works," said event organizers. "We can't wait to welcome the general public to the Warsaw Municipal Airport for another unforgettable day of fun, fundraising and community spirit. Be sure to stay tuned for updates as we unveil more details in the coming weeks!"
Whether you're an aviation enthusiast, a supporter of Cardinal Services or simply looking for a fantastic day out with the family, plan to attend SOAR! 2024. Date will be announced soon.
