Rick Allen Simison

Rick Allen Simison, 72, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.
Rick was born on Aug. 22, 1951, in Warsaw, to Jack and Mildred Renier Simison. He graduated from Warsaw High School.
Since seventh grade, Rick had his eyes on Wanda Allen. They would become a couple in 1983 and wed on June 2, 1984, in the former Church of God in Warsaw. They would cherish 43 years together before her passing on June 25, 2023.
He worked for Zimmer Biomet until his retirement, as a quality control inspector. Rick was a good Christian man, and attended the Church of God until its closing and then the First Christian Church in Warsaw.
Rick loved his family and had very generous soul. He taught his family to always be a good person. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing and trapping. Wanda and Rick traveled all the lower 48 states and bowled in the Senior League.
He is deeply missed by his children: Faith (Ian) Pence, of Osgood; Ron Simison, of Indianapolis; and Echo Tingler, of Indianapolis; stepchildren, Chad King, of Elkhart; and Troy King, of Warsaw; grandchildren: Zachary, Aiden, Evan, Edrick, Tiffany, Neo, Kyleigh, Ben, Chandler, Curtis, Cara, Cassandra, Austin, Autumn; great-grandchildren: Adalyn, Carter, Jayce, Aiden, Jade, Kinsley and Ella; and his sister, Christine Fisher.
Rick was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother, Tim (Sue) Simison; and infant twin brother, Ron Simison.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20 from 10 a.m. to noon at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Funeral services will follow at noon with Pastor Matthew Rogers officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
