Leininger Named 2024 Miss Kosciusko County Fair Queen

Jordyn Leininger was crowned 2024 Miss Kosciusko County Fair Queen Saturday at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds.
Millie Ohneck was first runner-up, Jasmine Fuller was second runner-up and Olivia Fuller was third runner-up.
Also, Khloe Hinojosa was named Miss Teen Kosciusko County.
Randi Colbert was named first runner-up, Gretchen Robinson was named second runner-up and Kayleena Igney was third runner-up.
Randy Shepherd, fair board president, said this year’s pageant was the 68th pageant.

Scoring for the pageants was based on an interview with the four-judge panel of Tamara Spangle, Luanne Grotbeck, Sarah Wegener and Montana Hatten, which made up 40% of the score. The remaining score came from interview wear, 10%; a prepared speech, 15%; theme wear, 15%; and formal wear and an onstage question the contestants answered, 20%.
The duties of Miss Kosciusko are to participate in the 2024 fair parade, be a positive role model and representative for Kosciusko County, participate in fair activities, compete in the Indiana State Fair Pageant, compete in the Indiana State Festival Pageant and pass down the crown at the following year’s pageant.
The 2023 Miss Kosciusko County Fair Queen was Ashley Irwin.
Katlyn Adkins, master of ceremonies, said the theme for the pageant was “Honoring Our Local Heroes.”
The duties for Miss Teen Kosciusko are to participate in the 2024 fair parade, be a positive role model and representative for Kosciusko County and participate in fair activities.
The 2023 Miss Teen Kosciusko was Olivia Fuller.
