Families Invited To Interact With Aquatic Critters At Lilly Center

WINONA LAKE – The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams invites all families to make a splash at their summer Critter Encounters.
There are a total of three events, featuring fish, a mudpuppy and turtles.
Dive into the fascinating world of fish on June 14, meet the magnificent mudpuppy on June 28 and travel to the totally cool world of turtles on July 19, all from 9:30 to 11 a.m., according to a news release from The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams.
Attendees of these events will get to do fun, hands-on activities such as:
• Themed games
• Story time
• Critter creations
• Interacting with the animals
There will be three opportunities for story time at each event, 9:40, 10:10 and 10:40 a.m. Participants will also enjoy snacks and a behind-the-scenes experience with these aquatic creatures in the aquarium lab.
Although animal lovers of all ages will enjoy Critter Encounters, the activities are geared toward elementary-age students.
