I would like to thank the Silver Lake Days Festival Committee for selecting me as a co-recipient as grand marshal for the festival parade.
It was indeed an honor to receive this award.
I am so excited the new committee has brought the festival back to life in Silver Lake. I am thankful for all their hard work and I can attest to that as I served on the festival committee for a consecutive 43 years.
I wish them nothing but the best for the upcoming festivals in the future.
