Warsaw Parks Announces 3 Upcoming Events

Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department announced three upcoming events, including paddle boarding and canoeing, a gospel concert and a movie.
• Community Paddle Boarding and Canoeing is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 5 at Pike Lake Beach, 1009 E. Arthur St. It is free.
No registration is required but an annual waiver and rules sheet must be signed by each participant or a parent/guardian. All equipment and life vests are provided to use on a first-come, first-served basis. Equipment will be used in timed increments and supervised by staff.
• The Summer Concert Series continues with the gospel group The Sounds from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 7 at Central Park Plaza, 225 E. Fort Wayne St. The concert is free.
The Summer Concert Series would not be possible without the support of the sponsors, including Kosciusko County Community Foundation, Indiana Arts Commission - a state agency, 107.3 WRSW, Willie 103.5 and News Now! Warsaw.
• The third event is Family Movie Night featuring “Scoob!”
It starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 7 at Lucerne Park, 800 N. Park Ave. The movie is free.
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and gather your family and friends for a movie outside on the monster screen.
Sponsors are DePuy Synthes and OrthoPediatrics.
