Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology (FWMOH) is taking steps to ensure its Warsaw clinic is fully prepared to provide comprehensive cancer care services to patients affected by the closure of another cancer care provider in Warsaw.
FWMOH understands the challenges this closure presents to patients and their families, and is committed to ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of care, according to a news release from FWMOH.
The FWMOH Warsaw clinic offers a full range of cancer care, including chemotherapy infusions, various forms of symptom relief and access to advanced clinical trials. The FWMOH Warsaw clinic is prepared to accommodate these displaced patients quickly to avoid an interruption in treatment. This includes working with new patients to determine how quickly they need to be seen, gather specific details about their illness, schedule appointments, coordinate insurance authorizations and take other steps to minimize delays in their care and treatment plan.
Key Information for Patients:
- To schedule an appointment, call 260-484-8830 and select Option 1.
- FWMOH Warsaw Clinic is located at 737 N. Detroit St.
"At Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology, our priority is to provide exceptional cancer care to our community," said Dr. Ahad Sadiq, MD, oncologist at FWMOH. "We are ready to support the patients impacted by the upcoming closure of another provider. Our clinical team is eager to help ensure they receive the high-quality care that cancer demands without leaving Kosciusko County."
