Driver Investigated For OWI After Car Hits Pole

A man was investigated for alleged driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated after his car hit a utility pole.
At 11:23 p.m. Saturday, Abel Ontiveros, 34, Warsaw, was traveling north on CR 175E in a 2004 Honda. For an unknown reason, the Honda left the road and his a Kosciusko REMC pole, according to information provided by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
Ontiveros complained of pain, but signed off medically.
Deputies investigated Ontiveros for driving while intoxicated.
No further information was available as of Sunday night.
