Kenith Bays, age 77, of Warsaw, passed away on July 30, 2024, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center.
He was born on Sept. 11, 1946, to Sammie and Dora Miller Bays in Prestonsburg, Ky. He graduated from Prestonsburg High School and shortly after moved to Warsaw. He married his wife Diana Williams on Aug. 13, 1966, in Silver Lake.
Outside of work, Kenith enjoyed spending time deer hunting and fishing. Kenith was known for his strong work ethic and his unwavering love for his family. He retired from Dalton Foundry after many years.
He is survived by his children: Kimberly Sweet, Donna (Darlo) Antomori, Vickie Bays, all of Goshen; and Mike Bays, of Rochester. Also surviving are his siblings, Keith (Phyllis) Bays, of Pierceton; and Karla (Vic) Lee, of Leesburg, Fla. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Bays, who passed away in 2021; parents, Sammie Bays Jr. and Dora Bays; his siblings: Carl Bays, Earl Bays, Frank Bays and Alice Surface.
Family and friends are invited to attend prior to the service from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 5 at Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw. Kenith's Life Celebration will be led by Pastor Bob Brown of God's Highway to Heaven Church, starting immediately at noon. Kenith will be laid to rest at a later date in Kentucky.
