Kathleen Sue Senger

Kathleen Sue Senger, known to most as "Kathy," was called home to be with the Lord on July 22, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1954, in Fort Wayne, to Robert and Melva Wiley Schuelke. Having spent much of her lifetime in the Fort Wayne area, she was a graduate of Northrop High School and later continued her education graduating from Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne with a degree in nursing. Kathy's nurturing personality and sense of humor endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Kathy dedicated her professional life to mental health as a registered nurse. Her passion for serving others led her to serve many years at St. Joe Hospital in Fort Wayne, where she touched the lives of countless individuals with her compassion and commitment.
In addition to her professional life, Kathy was a Christian who was a longtime member of both North Webster United Methodist Church and Messiah Lutheran Church, where she participated in bible study, church choir and even initiated and led a grief share program to support those in need. Further, Kathy shared her musical talents by teaching piano lessons and enjoyed the adventures of travel.
Kathy will be dearly missed by her blended family including her husband, Dewey Senger, of Syracuse; son, Bryan Kuhn, of El Paso Texas; three stepchildren: Shari (Rich) Roy, of Garrett; S. Scott (Amanda) Senger, of Fort Wayne; and Steven Senger, of South Whitley; a sister-in-law, Alice Schuelke, of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren and two nephews. She was preceded in passing by her first husband, Donald R. Kuhn; her parents, Robert and Melva Schuelke; and a brother, Thomas Schuelke.
Titus Funeral Home, 8056 E. CR 500N, North Webster, is entrusted with care of Kathy.
The family will receive visitors at North Webster United Methodist Church, 7822 E. Epworth Forest Road, North Webster, on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m., followed by a celebration of life service at 3 p.m. Burial will take place at Highland Park Cemetery, 2403 Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, on Monday, Aug. 5 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be considered to North Webster United Methodist Church, while written condolence can be left for the family on Kathy's obituary page - www.TitusFuneralHome.com.
