FORT WAYNE – In a boost to early childhood initiatives and community development, Brightpoint has received a donation of computers from Premier Bank.
These computers will be instrumental for local childcare providers, enabling them to effectively implement the new Child Care Management System (CCMS) introduced by the State Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning (OECOSL), according to a news release from Brightpoint. The CCMS is designed to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the quality of childcare services.
“We are excited to partner with and donate these computers to Brightpoint. We are proud to support them as they invest in early childhood initiatives in the Fort Wayne community. Investing in early childhood education is investing in our future. Donating these computers to Brightpoint is a way for us to make a positive impact on the lives and futures of Fort Wayne's children,” said Dawn A. Clopton, vice president, Community Development Premier Bank.
Comprehensive training on the CCMS will be provided, along with digital literacy and financial foundations courses, courtesy of the Brightpoint Development Fund and its collaborative partners.
“This initiative, supported by Premier Bank, is a step towards nurturing thriving communities. It offers small childcare businesses a valuable opportunity to leverage technology and training to enhance their services,” said Steve Hoffman, president/CEO of Brightpoint.
Recognizing the pivotal role of childcare providers in fostering early childhood development and stimulating economic growth in Northeast Indiana, Brightpoint is collaborating with the Northeast Indiana Early Childhood Coalition (NEIECC). This partnership aims to forge community connections that promote early learning.
If you are a childcare provider in Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, or Whitley County and are interested in participating in this program, reach out to the Brightpoint Development Fund via email at [email protected] or by calling 260-399-4108, ext. 211, for further details.
