Dorothy M. Chrisenberry, 91, of Warsaw, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Grace Village Nursing Home in Winona Lake.
Dorothy was born on Jan. 1, 1933, in Tiosa, in Fulton County. She was the daughter of Harold and Ellen Hartle Oler.
She was united in marriage to Howard J. Chrisenberry on Jan. 8, 1949, in Plymouth.
She spent her life as a homemaker, raising her children. Dorothy was a member of the First Brethren Church and was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Indiana.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Dale Chrisenberry, of London, Ky.; granddaughter, Natasha Chrisenberry; and two great-grandchildren, all of McMinnville, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; a son, Dennis Chrisenberry; a sister, Margaret Best; and a brother, Glen Oler.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 19 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Howard Immel officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
