MACOG Announces Draft Regional Mobility Plan

The Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) announced the release of the draft Regional Mobility Plan (RMP).
This plan is designed to serve as the region’s Coordinated Public Transit - Human Services Transportation Plan and aims to identify gaps and barriers in transportation services for people with disabilities, older adults and low-income residents, according to a news release from MACOG.
The draft RMP will be available for public review and comment from July 8 until Aug. 7, 2024. A draft of the plan can be accessed at public libraries, MACOG’s office or on MACOG’s website at https://macog.com/transit.html#mobility_plan.
To facilitate public participation, MACOG will host a virtual open house on Tuesday, July 23 from 3 to 5 p.m., with registration information found at the link above. During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the plan, ask questions and provide feedback.
