Larry J. Dunn, of Warsaw, passed away at the age 77 on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born on Dec. 18, 1946, he was the son of Herschel Willard and Virginia Fern Temple Dunn.
Larry led a fulfilling life marked by his commitment to hard work and excellence. He embarked on a successful career path that began with working as a salesman Montgomery Ward before dedicating 35 years of service to RR Donnelley until his well-deserved retirement. Additionally, Larry found joy in delivering pizzas for Domino's and utilizing his skills as an auditor for various hotels.
Larry's interests were varied and reflected his love for a challenge and camaraderie. He took immense pleasure in reading and solving Sudoku puzzles. As a devoted family man, Larry could often be found cheering on his children at their sports games and matches, exploring the outdoors during family camping trips or enjoying a round of golf with friends from church.
Among his proudest accomplishments was being an exceptional husband to his loving wife of 49 years, Sarah; father to his sons, Geoffrey and Rodney Dunn; grandfather to Jacob, Aubrey and Thomas; and brother to Harold (Shirley) Dunn. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Fern Dunn; and sisters: Lucille (Dave) Martinez, Carolyn (James) Harding, Dolores Ruth Dunn and Marcella Irene Dunn.
Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with Larry’s care. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11 at the funeral home, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw, from 6 until 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 12 at Pathway Church, 2402 W. Old 30, Warsaw, at 11 a.m. with the doors opening an hour prior at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Pathway Church.
