Pianist Borah Kang To Play Friday

Pianist Dr. Borah H. Kang will present a free piano program on Friday, July 12 at 2 p.m. in the Grace Village Retirement Community Chapel.
“Piano Praise” will include well-known classical music and hymn works, according to a provided news release.
Kang attended Masterworks in Winona Lake in 2005-07 and won the 2007 concerto contest, performing Schuman’s A minor concerto, Opus, 54. Originally from South Korea, she received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Literature from the University of Illinois in 2015.
Legally blind from birth, she praises God that He has helped her compensate by blessing her with “amazing hearing and great capacity of memorization,” the release states. Friday's program is free and open to the public.
