AKRON – Dan Gaby, 76, Akron, died at 8:34 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.
Dan was born Nov. 16, 1947, in Logansport, to Russell and Audrey Weaver Gaby. He married Barbara Gray on July 10, 1982, in the Akron Church of God. She survives.
The funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 12 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastor David Eaton officiating. The interment will take place following the service in the Akron Cemetery, Akron.
Visitation hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. A fireman’s service will be at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Henry Township Volunteer Fire Department.
