Community Fair Kicks Off Monday

Opening day for the 107th Annual Kosciusko County Fair is today.
Below are a listing of events at the fair Monday and Tuesday.
Fair Show/Events
Today
• 5 p.m., gates open
• 5 p.m., commercial tents open
• 3 and 6 p.m., Dino Encounters, commercial tent area
• 7:30 p.m., Motorized Horse Show, grandstand
• 8 p.m., commercial tent closes
Tuesday
• 9 to 10 a.m., kids free breakfast, event center
• 9 a.m., commercial tent opens
• 9 a.m., gates open
• 10 a.m., Lake City Bank Coin Hunt, event center
• 11 a.m. Baby Dinos Meet and Greet, event center
• 11:30 a.m., 4:30 and 7 p.m., Dino Encounters, commercial tent area
• Noon, Deb Collier School of Dance, event center
• 1 p.m., Fun with the queen and court, event center
• 2 and 3:30 p.m., Silly Safari’s, event center
• 2 p.m., carnival rides open, Kiddies Day, special $2 ride day, midway
• 5 p.m., Kiddies Pedal Pull registration, main drive by fair office.
• 5 p.m., Tag Art Large Raptor Show, event center
• 6 to 7 p.m., Extreme Monster Truck Madness Pit Party, free admission, track area
• 7:30 p.m., Extreme Monster Truck Madness, grandstand
• 8 p.m., commercial tent closes

• Noon to 8 p.m., Home and Family Arts Building, open
Tuesday
• 1 to 3 p.m., Make It & Take It session, HFA building
• Noon to 8 p.m., HFA building, open
Antique Tractor/Village Shows/Events
Today
• 5 to 8 p.m., kettle corn, antique area
• 5:30 p.m., tractor churned ice cream, antique area
• 7 p.m., demonstration: old time sawmill, antique area
Tuesday
• 5 p.m., kettle corn, antique area
• 5:30 p.m., sweet corn, antique area
• 5:30 p.m., homemade ice cream, antique area
• Noon to 8 p.m., tractor driving experience (weather permitting), antique area

    A truck in the 2024 Kosciusko County Community Fair parade promoted Project Ebenezer Helping Heroes Pickleball Tournament, Aug. 17-18 in Winona Lake. For spectators, there will be K9 demonstrations, kid activities, lunch options, Kona Ice and a swag tent. Participants will play in round robin by skill, there will be a misting tent and fans, lunch options, hand-crafted awards and raffle items.
