NORTH MANCHESTER – A. Darlene Eckert, 89, died July 5, 2024.
She was born in Liberty Mills on Dec. 31, 1934, to Robert H. “Bob” and Blanche McNear Michael. On Jan. 1, 1953, Darlene married Richard Eckert.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, July 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Timbercrest Chapel, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling with Pastor Kelly Beutler and Pastor Erin Huiras officiating. Burial will be at South Whitley Cemetery.
For those who wish to honor the memory of Darlene Eckert, memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Mills Church of the Brethren, 103 3rd St., Liberty Mills, IN 46946.
The family of Darlene Eckert has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
