Winona Lake Limitless Park Department And Winona Lake Police Department Announce Valentine’s Day Card Contest

WINONA LAKE - All local kids are invited to enter a crafty contest with a handmade Valentine’s Day card for the chance to win prizes.
The Winona Lake Limitless Park Department, along with their friends from the Winona Lake Police Department, is accepting creative, handmade valentines from kids ages 3-12, now through Feb. 7.
Police Chief Joe Hawn will select the top two cards from the following age groups: Ages 3-5, 6-9, 10-12. These finalists will be posted on social media for the community to vote on Feb. 9.
Photos will be posted to both the WLPD and WLLP Facebook pages. The creator of the card with the most combined votes will go home with a grand prize.
Prizes will be awarded to the six finalists at 5 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Winona Lake Police Deparmtent.
All submitted Valentine’s Day cards will be handed out to local law enforcement after the contest.
Valentine’s submissions should be dropped off to the Winona Lake Police Department/Town Hall or Park Office by Feb. 7. Upon drop-off, provide the child’s name, parent or guardian’s name and phone number.
WLPD/Town Hall is at 1310 Park Ave., Winona Lake; Park Office is at 1590 Park Ave., Winona Lake.
