Warsaw Chosen As Host Site For Statewide Knockout Competition

WARSAW -  Warsaw Community High School is thrilled to announce its selection as one of the host sites for the statewide Knockout Competition, proudly sponsored by the Indiana Pacers. This exciting event aims to captivate basketball enthusiasts and drive attendance to the NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis.
Taking place on January 25, during halftime of the girls basketball game against Angola High School, the Knockout Competition promises an exhilarating showcase of talent and skill. Fans can look forward to witnessing intense competition and enjoying the electrifying atmosphere as players battle it out on the court.
Adding to the excitement, Indiana Fever players Grace Berger and Lexie Hull will be in attendance, heightening the star power of this already thrilling event. Their presence is sure to inspire aspiring players and fans alike.
This event serves as a golden opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate the love of basketball, and support their local teams. Warsaw Community High School extends a warm invitation to all sports enthusiasts to be part of this unforgettable experience.
Students ages 10-18 are encouraged to attend and sign up to participate in this event. Participation forms are located in the High School Athletic Office and can be picked up on the day of the game. Forms will be turned in at the start of halftime, prior to participation in the event. The winner receives one of the special All-star Indy basketballs, two tickets to the NBA Crossroads event in Indianapolis February 16-18 at the Indiana Convention Center, a signed autograph card from Indiana Pacer Tyrese Haliburton and an invitation to a special recognition opportunity at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis prior to All Star.

The Girls Game tips off with JV at 6 PM and the Varsity to follow around 7:30 PM!
