NORTH MANCHESTER – Robert "Bob" Tharp Sr., 81, North Manchester, died Jan. 21, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.
Bob was born July 14, 1942, in Niles, Mich., to Stanton Miller and Vivian Rose Shurburn Tharp. On March 20, 1986, Bob married Gee-Gee Shull Alexander.
Family and friends may call Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. at McKee Mortuary. Father Dennis Di Benedetto will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
For those who wish to honor the memory of Bob Tharp, memorial contributions may be made to No Person Left Behind, P.O. Box 132, Libertytown, MD 21762; or the American Legion Post 286, 215 E. Main St., North Manchester, IN 46962.
The family of Bob Tharp has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
