WCS Celebrates Partnership & Support At Everwise ‘Dash For Cash’

Warsaw Community Schools (WCS) hosted Everwise for the annual "Dash for Cash" event, held in the Tiger Den, during the Warsaw Community High School boys basketball home game on Friday.
The event highlights the ongoing commitment of Everwise to WCS through financial contributions that bolster various student academic and athletic programs, according to a news release from WCS.
Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert, accompanied by WCS administrators and school board members, gathered with Karen Mayer, branch manager, and Everwise’s staff to acknowledge Everwise's continued support. This annual recognition not only honors the partnership but also highlights the donation made by Everwise as part of the naming rights for the court, stated the release. Contributions from Everwise have been instrumental in enhancing student services, including the acquisition of new band trailers, academic awards, athletic equipment and staff recognition initiatives.
The highlight of the evening, the "Dash for Cash," featured three WCS elementary staff members as participants. Nathan Polston secured $10, Matt Deeds collected $20, and Kari Asay, the winner of the golden ticket, participated in the dash and collected $266 within 30 seconds.
