A Warsaw man avoided injuries after his SUV went off the road early Saturday morning and landed on a culvert, but he didn’t escape jail time.
According to information provided by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, at 3:22 a.m. Saturday, Tad Edwards, 33, Warsaw, was traveling east in a 2023 GMC Acadia on CR 175N, east of CR 175E, when the vehicle left the road on the south side.

He was investigated for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, according to the KCSO, and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 4:41 a.m. Saturday on the charge. His preliminary bond was set at $700.
Damage was minimal at approximately $2,500.
