The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 12:11 p.m. Tuesday - Mario Ruben Murillo-Alfaro, 42, of 1864 E. Springfield Drive, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license. Bond: $500.
• 2:33 p.m. Tuesday - Douglas W. Lewallen, 42, of 408 W. First St., Milford, arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $5,250.
• 2:59 p.m. Tuesday - Christopher Lee Lewallen, 43, Fort Wayne, arrested for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish. Bond: $600.
• 3:39 p.m. Tuesday - Adam Lee Goehring, 32, Fremont, Ohio, arrested for felony failure to appear. No bond set.
• 6:57 p.m. Tuesday - Ryan Von Smythe, 34, of 12750 N. CR 825E, Syracuse, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16. No bond listed.

Accidents
• 4:37 p.m. Friday – South Huntington Street and West Chicago Street, Syracuse. Drivers: John P. Deming, 54, East Pickwick Road, Syracuse; and Logan E. Haab, 23, CR 27, Syracuse. Deming was backing his vehicle from a parking space at the same time Haab was backing his plow truck to continue plowing the parking lot. Both vehicles collided in the parking lot at McClure’s Gas Station. Damage up to $10,000. Syracuse Police Department investigated.
• 1:58 p.m. Saturday - North Syracuse-Webster Road and West Railroad Avenue, Syracuse. Drivers: Juan A. Calderon, 23, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw; and Jeremy W. Doerr, 50, North CR 500E, Syracuse. Calderon was traveling west on Railroad Avenue and failed to see Doerr’s vehicle traveling south on Syracuse-Webster Road. Calderon drove into the path of Doerr’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500. SPD.
• 9:59 p.m. Saturday - North CR 800W at mile marker 400, Etna Green. Car left roadway. Driver: Travis S. Bess, 28, Mohawk Drive, Nappanee. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
• 10:01 p.m. Saturday - 11113 N. Ind. 19, Nappanee. Car went into ditch and hit utility pole. Driver: Kari A. Mueller, 42, Elkhart. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. KCSO.
• 5:03 a.m. Sunday - Intersection of North Etna Street and West Harrison Street, Mentone. Pickup hit mailbox. Driver: Cary D. Walls, 50, South Main Street, Etna Green. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSO.
• 5:22 a.m. Monday - North CR 300E, 800 feet north of East CR 750N, Milford. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Rico A. Gustavo, 38, Cicero, Ill.; Stephen Rozow III, 55, North Camelot Drive, Milford. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSO.
• 8:27 a.m. Monday - CR 300, Leesburg. Two-car collision. Drivers: Ryden J. Manning, 19, South Huntington Street, Syracuse; Francisca L. Hoffmann, 34, Barrington Place, Warsaw. Damage: $50,000-$100,000. KCSO.
• 2:58 p.m. Monday - Intersection of North CR 800E and East McClintic Road, Syracuse. SUV went into ditch and hit utility pole. Driver: David G. Singer, 40, North Lake Street, Syracuse. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSO.

• 12:38 p.m. Tuesday - A traffic stop was initiated for obstruction of justice and possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish in the 400 block of West First Street, Milford. Milford Police Department investigated.
• 2:57 p.m. Tuesday - An emergency detention order was requested in the 600 block of North Colfax Street, Warsaw. .
• 5:15 p.m. Tuesday - A miscellaneous accident was reported in the 500 block of North First Street, Pierceton. Pierceton Police Department investigated.
• 12:36 a.m. Wednesday - A person was arrested for criminal trespass and sexual battery in the 400 block of Sophie Lane, Warsaw. WPD.
