Chester B. “Chet” Allen Jr. died Jan. 15, 2024, in Fort Wayne.
He was born July 21, 1947, in Silver Lake, to Chester B. Allen Sr. and Naomi Ruth Oney Allen.
Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with care of Chet and the family with services held in South Whitley at South Whitley Community Church. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 19 from 3 to 6 p.m. Beginning at 6 p.m., a Life Celebration funeral will be led by Pastor Denver Ayres. Final interment will be held privately at Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
In lieu of flowers, gifts should be considered for growing the ministry at South Whitley Community Church. Envelopes will be available at the Church for gifting.

Editor, Times-Union: I am writing this letter in response to the proposed construction of a data center in the Leesburg/Clunette area. The proposed site is 1 mile from where my wife and I currently live.
