WINONA LAKE - Lacie Fouts and her best friend Chandra Whittenberger have opened their new insurance office, Whittenberger-Fouts Insurance, at the Winona Live building, 25 Kings Hwy., Winona Lake.
On Thursday, the insurance company was one of several businesses inside the building that had ribbon-cutting ceremonies with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce. A grand opening celebration took place Saturday.
“We do life insurance, so children’s whole life policies, term life, debt-free life, annuities, retirement solutions, mortgage protection,” Whittenberger said.
She’s been involved in selling insurance for the last six years, but it was in the last six months where she and Fouts came together to open up their business.
“I just kind of jumped on her length of doing it and I’m learning from her,” Fouts said. “So, she hired me on and now we kind of do it together (as partners).”
To learn more, a person can call or text 574-527-9864 and 574-551-2222 or reach out on Facebook.
“We’re always hiring,” Whittenberger said. “We’re looking for more people. We’re looking to expand. We do have agents in other states, but we’re looking to expand more here in our local area.”
Fouts said they’re also looking for bilingual insurance agents that can get licensed.
